It’s now official. I have changed my return flight to Friday next week. Another week of missed sport back home.
Today was the blessing ceremony at the office. Is a traditional event for new buildings and even so I’m told, new cars and such like. The blessing keeps the evil spirits away.
There were a number of monks there and most of the office staff were taking part. I made a brief appearance just outside my door but my knees aren’t up to sitting on the floor so I went back into my room closed the door and put on my headphones. I did quite a bit of work. Afterwards there was a meal eating on the floor, which I joined in. The food was unloaded just outside my wondow and a number of the staff were getting it ready for after the ceremony. We all take off our shoes before coming inside all the time, not just for the ceremony.
Work continues to progress, although new things came up even today that required further changes to the design.
I am trying to workout what to do this weekend. I wouldn’t mind a game of golf and there is a reort much closer than Bangkok, so the trip would be shorter. However there’s not much else to do and if it rains like last night it will be a washout.
It was BBQ night again a there was a crowd of peopel from the office with wives in some cases at dinner. I boughht my laptop over to use the net and I am now entering this directly. There are hundreds of bugss around tonight, not just the ones in my programs.
