I had another business trip, this time to the US, a month after I got back from Thailand. This included 2 days in Hong Kong on the way back. I offered to call in to Thailand from Hong Kong but it was decided that the 2 to 3 days available was not enough time.
I'd only been back home for 2 days and had already booked for a return trip to Thailand the following Thursday. That was the earliest day there were flights still available on Thai Airways and the only option to get a week there before my month away in the East of Australia, playing hockey, visiting friends and family and going to the Mensa conference.
Unfortunately we have lost the Semi final in hockey today so I'll miss the Prelim next week. I guess they'll have to do it without me, if we are to make the Grand final the following weekend. I will be back for that that match, if required.
